Synopsis:

The student is acquainted with the nature of physical processes that are used in the instrument in medical rehabilitation therapies and their effects on physiological and pathophysiological happening in the body and thus their possible use in the treatment of various pathological conditions. Are analyzed in detail the various indications and contraindications, appropriate physical parameters, possible interactions with other treatments, including pharmacotherapy. Attention is focused on the safety device used by physiotherapy, legal issues and the manner of application procedures.

demonstrate the practical application of knowledge of some physical demonstration of methods and applications in the oral interview

test:

Oral exam is in the range of substances presented at lectures, practical exercises, prescribed in the literature and recommended study materials. Topics are listed in the Annex website subject. Students must be in response to demonstrate knowledge of the physical nature of physiotherapy techniques, route of administration, principles of safety, appropriate indications and contraindications. Special attention is paid to the knowledge of possible interactions with other types of therapy. Testing methodology reflects a mirror examination.

Syllabus of lectures:

are two-hour lecture, 1 for 14 days (total of 5 lectures)

1, 2 Week Biomechanical methods and instrumentation in the treatment of paresis

3rd, 4th week of treatment options physical therapy, pain

5, 6 Modern phototherapy week, new findings in non-invasive laser

7, 8 week contribution from the perspective of today's electro-physical medicine

9th, 10th Week modern physical processes in the treatment of spinal cord damage

Syllabus of tutorials:

Practical training in working with physical therapy unit consists of 2 parts. In 3 exercises (6 hours), students learn about safety and working with instruments, principles of work with them, including their maintenance and training work with them. In the second part will test their theoretical knowledge in clinical practice in the workplace, where they will be assigned to each unit operation, which is practically acquainted and learn to use various instruments of physical therapy, which will dispose of the department (teaching block in 4 days, 6 hours). During practical lessons students will be evaluated, the successful completion of practical training will be the basis for an oral interview for entering credit.

First Exercise Safety in the workplace with physical therapy.

Second Maintenance of exercise equipment for physical therapy, hygiene, service conditions.

Third exercise training to work with devices for physical therapy, errors in applications.

Schedule students for clinical work conducted throughout the semester guarantor of the subject.
