Synopsis:

The scientific method is a sequence or a set of processes used in scientific research. Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquire knowledge and knowledge about scientific methods. Basic methods include observation and deduction based on the knowledge gained so far. The acceptance of new scientific knowledge is based on concrete evidence. The scientific method is based on the assumption that the criterion of the veracity of the scientific hypothesis is the agreement of the predictions with the results of the research. This approach keeps scientific hypotheses in constant contact with reality and allows for their falsification, because the hypothesis, the consequences of which are inconsistent with the research findings, will be falsified (thus disproved).
