Synopsis:

Overview of selected modern instrumental methods of research and analysis, theoretical fundamentals, instrumental technique, utilization and application.

Requirements:

Knowledge of principles of physical and analytical chemistry.

Syllabus of lectures:

1.Gas chromatography.

2.Methods of thermal analysis ( TG, DTA, DSC,TD, EGA, ETA).

3.Principles of vacuum technique.

4.Atomic emission spectroscopy.

5.Flame emission photometry and molecular emission spectra.

6.Methods of luminescence analysis.

7.X- ray emission spectroscopy.

8.Raman spectroscopy.

9.Atomic absorption and fluorescence specroscopy.

10.Molecular absorption spectroscopy ( UV, VIS, IR, FTIR).

11.Microwave spectroscopy.

12.X- ray absorption spectroscopy.
