Synopsis:

A systematic overview of production machines and equipment. Requirements on production machines. Technological characteristics of production machines. Static and dynamic stiffness. Drives of production machines. The load-bearing structure. Properties of production machines. Alignment of machines. Manufacturing systems for machining and forming ? flexible, inflexible and partially flexible. Requirements on forming machines. Design solutions of forming machine drives. Fundamental parts and mechanisms of forming machines. Design of forming machine frames and columns. Determination of production machine functions and their significance for design. NC forming machines, characteristic features of design, basic parts and mechanisms. Analysis of the function of filling and closing mechanism parts. Regulation and programming of filling and closing force. Dynamics of a filling mechanism. The hydraulic drive of selected types of production machines. Modular technology. Attachments. Integrated design of a forming machine. Elements of automation with regard to their possible connection to the forming machine system. Automated manufacturing systems for forming.
