Synopsis:

Basic knowledges about refraction of the eye. Techniques of the subjective refraction perform testing frame or the phoropter.Techniques of the examination near vision.

Requirements:

80% of the participations

final test

exam: 3 questions

1.Optotypes,distance of examination,anamnesis,observation,symptoms,patientś card,technique of refraction

2.testing frame,vertex distance,pupilar distance,testing frame vs.phoropter,visual acuity, rules of the monocular refraction

3.how to find hypermetropia, the best lens, fogging

4.how to find myopia, the best lens

5.Jackson's cylinder-axis of the astigmatism,power of the astigmatism

6.How to find astigmatism

7.Spheric control, red-green duochrome test

8.Humphriss metod

9.Near vision,accommodation

10.near point of the accommodation

11.Tests of dominance

12.Control of the vision for the long distance

Study Objective:

This subject gives students basic knowedges about refraction of the eye. Educate practis of eye examination.
