Synopsis:

Computer algebra systems (CAS) Maple, Matlab and Mathematica are used to demonstrate basic mathematical concepts that students encounter in subjects Mathematics and Introductory Algebra. Seminars provide both computational and graphical examples with particular emphasis on problems whose solution without CAS is either difficult or impossible.

8. Linear Algebra: Matrices, operations with matrices, determinants, inverse matrices, eigenvalues.

9. Systems of linear equations: symbolic and numeric solutions.

10. Principles of program MatLab.

11. Introduction to data structures.

12. Principles of program Mathematica.

14. Problem-oriented solving.
