- Synopsis:
-
The course introduces students to the basic problems associated with technical realization of controlled thermonuclear fusion. The aim is to provide students with a starting point for their direct research
involvement in development of one of the systems critical for operation of fusion devices. Further, in particular for those students with more emphasis on plasma theory, the course provides a good overview of
technical problems, possibilities, and limits associated with operation of fusion devices as these technical limits form boundary conditions for any applicable fusion theory research.
- Requirements:
-
