Synopsis:

Development if scalar description og gravitational and gravity field of the Earth continuing to the form containing Stokes parameters, normal gravity firld of the Earth (reference level ellipsoid), anomal gravity field, methods of determination of geoid or quasigeoid as projection of Stokes or Molodenski theory of the figure of the Earth, theory of heights.

Study Objective:

Information on gravity field of the Earth, its description by Stokes parameters, Stokes and Molodensky theory of the figure of the Earth and heights, methods of determination of the shape of geoid and quasigeoid.
