Synopsis:

To get acquinted with mathematical and physical modelling of processes in urban drainage with practical excercise in hydraulic laboratory and work with rainfall-runoff model.

Syllabus of lectures:

Interaction of monitoring and modelling. Monitoring in urban drainage. Closed profiles hydraulics. Discharge measurement with tracers. Simulation of the rainfall-runoff process with mathematical models.

Syllabus of tutorials:

Modelling of flow in the sewer system and its structures. GIS in urban drainage. Physical modelling of flow. Stormwater separators. Sedimentation. Sludge thickening. Field excursion.

Study Objective:

To get acquinted with mathematical and physical modelling of processes in urban drainage with practical excercise in hydraulic laboratory and work with rainfall-runoff model.
