Synopsis:

Design and analysis of structures in plasticity. Analysis of structures with regard to fatigue and strength

Requirements:

State of plane stress and triaxial state of stress. Bending and deformation of beams. Torsion of rods. Stability of rods. Combined loading. Time-variable loading.

Syllabus of lectures:

Tensor and deviator of stress and strain. Principles of theory of plasticity. Elastoplastic and plastic state. Mathematical methods in plasticity. Viscoelastic material. Theory of failure. Criteria of strength. Fatigue fracture.
