Study Objective:

Course Design and management of operating systems is directed to discuss the strategy and tactics of effective management and improvement of production processes in the present, technological and project organization. The course is designed to process flows, talks about methods such as Core Business, Facility Management, Outsourcing, etc. Subjects of interest are information systems and sources of information, necessary for the management of production and services. Furthermore, standardization of processes and normative base business (development of standards of material consumption, usable time fund, consumption standards of living labor, capacity standards). Also, batch, continuous time of manufacture or process (providing services), beat and rhythm work. Creation of added value for the customer in custody on innovation strategy, pre-production stages of a new product. Production management, operational and capacity planning, technological aspects and variations in manufacturing processes and services. Inventory Management and Lean principles, Push-Pull, TPS, TOC, ABC, JIT, JIS, Kanban and Facility Management. Ensuring uptime of machinery and equipment TPM. In-house logistics, storage operations, logistics, warehousing, storage optimization capabilities. The material and information flows, handling equipment and handling units. Management of quality in operations, product quality and measurement processes, principles of Kaizen and Six Sigma.
