Synopsis:

A general understanding of Digital Signal Processor platforms and what makes them more effective for real-time applications than other types of processors. Core activity is devoted to the skill of SW development for powerful signal processors of Texas Instruments, Series TMS320C6x.

1.The algorithms - subject of digital signal processing.

2.Comparison of DSP platforms and classical processors (Pentium).

3.Architecture of DSP with fixed point and floating point arithmetic - survey.

4.Signal processor TMS320C6x - VLIW architecture.

5.Starter kit TMS320C6211.

6.TMS320C6x - CPU, memory, DMA, EMIF, HPI, timers, ports.

7.TMS320C6x - connection of audio codec, A/D and D/A converters.

8.TMS320C6x - development of SW, C compiler, assembler, linker.

9.TMS320C6x - optimisation of SW.

10.TMS320C6x - implementation of FIR filters.

11.TMS320C6x - implementation IIR filters.

12.TMS320C6x - implementation of FFT.

13.TMS320C6x - implementation of DCT.

14.TMS320C6x - implementation of DTMF (Goertzel).
