Data analysis and simulation of particle collisions in elementary particle physics

Requirements:

Knowledge of the basic course of physics

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Data analysis in particle physics,

2. Tools for data analysis (ROOT) and their practising,

3. Particle collisions simulations ( Monte Carlo generators),

4. Structure functions,

5. Partons and jets,

6. Cosmic radiation - detection and simulation,

7.Data analysis examples from ATLAS experiment
