Synopsis:

Polymers - plastics, rubbers and adhesives. Structure and properties of polymers. Particulate, fibre a laminar composites. Composites with polymer, metal and ceramic matrix.

Requirements:

Atomic structure, periodical table of elements, atomic bonding. Basics of thermodynamics - system, component, phase. Binary diagrams, structures of metals and alloys.
