Synopsis:

Basics of hydrology and watershed management, flood risk assessment, rainfall-runoff modelling, calculation methods of surface runoff and methods of assessment. Erosion and man's activities, reservoir sedimentation process and problems, reservoir sedimentation control, estimating site-specific erosion, the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE), sediment delivery ratios, watershed segmentation, sediment transport capacity, etc. GIS implementation. Hydrologic and erosion models for watershed.
