Synopsis:

Mass, structure of matter. Motion of matter, kinematics, dynamics. Force field. Deformations and leak. Oscillations, elastic wawes, acoustics. Heat properties of matter.

Requirements:

Syllabus of lectures:

Elementary practicle of mass formation. Chemical substance, compound, mixture. State of matter. Structure of matter.

position vector, trajectory, velocity, acceleration. Kinematics of point mass. Newton's

Laws, equations of motion.

Physical field, intensity and potencial of force field. Gravitational field, Newton's Law of gravitation. Work, energy.

Deformations forces, stress tensor. Solid state deformation (tension, compression, shear).Internal friction of fluid (viscosity). Laminar and turbulent flow.

Harmonic oscillator, damped and driven oscillations, resonance. Elastic wawes in solid ojects and liquid media. Interferention, standing wawe. energy and intensity of oscillation. Principles of acoustics.

Temperature and heat. Work in thermodynamics. Thermal expansion. Heat transfer, heat transfer equation.

Study Objective:

Understanding of the basic concepts of classic physics and thermodynamics. The knowledge is applicable in further study and engineering practice.
