French for Intermediate Students Examination

Synopsis:

The content is the examination as given by the study programme.

The whole French programme is ended with an examination covering the contents of FM1-FM3. The examination consists of a written and oral part and is organized according to Examination Instructions, a document available on the web.

Requirements:

Linguistic knowledge and competence at level FM3 (FM2,FM1). A pass in respective courses.

Syllabus of lectures:

The examination consists of a written and oral part. The written part contains a test of language and/or transactional letter (e.g., application for a training, study stay, job).

Oral part includes: personal presentation, studies and professional plans of the student, followed by the dialogue with the examiner.

Interpreting popular science or technical text: reading, translation of some part, comprehension tasks like finding information, giving summary, opinion

Monologue on a given topic. The topics are listed in „Requirements for examination“ together with indicated sources. Al this to be found on the teacher´s web-page as well as in a printed form.

Study Objective:

To evaluate if the requirements (knowledge and skills) given by the syllabus were met.

To reach the CEFR B1 level extended to French for specific purposes.

To pass the examination at level B1 CEFR extended to French for specific purposes.
