Synopsis:

Combinational and sequential logic ,programmable logic controllers, static and dynamic characteristics, types of processes, solutions of differential equations, modelling, system analysis, feedback control systems, stability of linear systems, transfer functions, PID controllers, two-position controllers, design of control systems, analysis in the frequency domain, controller tuning.

Application seminar focused on: Combinatorial and Sequential Logic Circuits; Continuous Linear Systems; Transfer Functions; Mathematical Models; Poles and Zeros; Transient and Steady State Response Analysis; Frequency-Response Analysis; Proportional, Integral and Derivative Controllers; Discrete-time based PID Controllers; Open Loop and Closed Loop Control
