Synopsis:

This course is offered for doctoral students throughout the university in support of their professional growth. Using a systematic approach, the course aims to deepen doctoral students´ presentation and communication skills and abilities. It deals with the basic theory and practice of Human Resources, motivation and evaluation as systematic processes; as well as basic ethics and protocol. Training in solving model situations through role play (simulation) enables feedback. Simulation forms the basis for training in presenting communicative content, mime and mimickry - on the basis of students' own experience; the training includes self-presentation and acting as the spokesman for a small working group. For work with feedback, use can be made of self-observation, audiovisual and IT technology and the course teacher.
