Passive, active and integrated safety, ergonomy; Safety aspects of car body construction; Sets layout related to car body deformation; Vehicle deformation characteristics; Overloading effects on human, injury biomechanics; Dummies, sensors, injury criteria; Passive safety examinations, legislation, regional approval, certification; Vehicle reliability, constructional approach;

Vehicle loads and fatigue.

Study Objective:

Introduce students to the car body construction and crash rigidity, hold up systems, injury biomechanics elements, vehicle life, material fatigue, mechanical systems reliability, testing methods and legislation. Students learn about vehicle safety and reliability applicable during construction and use.
