 Synopsis:

The subject is oriented on study of flowing fluids behavior with applications in technical praxis with emphasizes on flow of air. Lectures are focused on flow stability, turbulence, flow around bodies and interaction of flow with surfaces.
 Requirements:

Basic skills in mechanics of fluids and mathematics (integral, differential and tensor calculus).
 Syllabus of lectures:

 Basic equations of fluid dynamics (continuity, NavierStokes), theirs properties.
 Turbulence and deterministic chaos.
 Equations of turbulent flow (Reynolds).
 Theory of stability.
 Transition of flow to turbulence.
 Developed turbulent flow.
 Mathematical modeling of turbulent flows.
 Analysis of turbulent shear flows (boundary layer, jet, flow in channel, wake).
 Flow around bodies (bluff and streamlined bodies).
 Force interaction of flow with surfaces.
 Concise theory of wing.
