Synopsis:

TPU The course is an introduction to the topic of finishes (meaning and objectives of the field). They are introduced to the basics of corrosion distribution and its species. TPU focuses on corrosion protection in engineering and other industries. Are reconstructed surface preparation processes (mechanical, chemical). Among the discussed technologies finishes include coating technologies (such as electroplating, zinc plating) technology conversion layers, further application of organic coatings. An important issue is also ecological aspects, Technological design and testing in the field of surface treatment.

Requirements:

Knowledge of part of surface treatment from the subject of Technology I.

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Introduction to surface treatment, importance and objectives of the field

2. Fundamentals of corrosion, division and its types

3. Corrosion protection in engineering

4. Pretreatments mechanical and chemical pretreatment (electrochemical)

5. Metal layers and coatings, electroplating, zinc plating, conversion coatings and layers

6. Coatings of paints and plastics, enamel, inorganic coatings

7. Ecological aspects of finishes, Technological design, operation finishes

1. Introduction to the finishes, semestral work safety

2. Fundamentals of corrosion, division and its types

3. Mechanical pretreatments

4. Pretreatment chemical (electrochemical)

5. Metallic coatings and layer, electroplating

6. Hot Dip Galvanizing

7. Conversion coatings and layers

8. Coatings of paints and plastics

9. Ecological aspects of finishes

10. Basic methods of testing in the field finishies

11. Excursions

12. Excursions

13. Presentation of theses, Credit test

Study Objective:

The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with the surface technologies in engineering.
