Transfer of heat and heat patterns during heating and cooling of products. Processes on the process-environment boundary during heating and dwell on temperatures of heat treatment. Austenitization, quenching and tempering of plain and alloy structural and tool steels. Chemical and heat treatment of steels. Surface treatment of steels. Heat treatment of selected non-ferrous metals.
