Fundamentals of Nursing Theory

History of nursing, especially in Europe and Czech Republic. Key figures. Modern approach to nursing through basic terms as health, disease, holistic health. Explanation of nursing concept consists of importance of nursing, definition of nursing, function and tasks of nurse, concept of nursing practice, system of education, control of nursing profession. Nursing as a scientific field. Ethics in nursing.
1st Partial requirements:
2nd Elaboration of essay on nursing issues in the range min. 5 pages
3rd The defense and presentation of work
Requirements for testing:
4th Compliance with the requirements for the credit.
5th Compliance with the written test
6th The written test contains 20 questions for each correct answer to the question is 1 point.
7th 10 questions from the test has a choice of four answers, which can be 4,3,2,1 correct answer, you answer 10 questions formulated by writing a brief response.

A 20 pt

9th When poor test score meeting the oral examination.
10th The oral test takes the form of asking questions of odpřednášených topics, the student demonstrates knowledge and ability to discuss issues of nursing.

Note: The interval between regular and repeat the test or tests must be provisioned at least seven days.

11th Specification nursing process, its importance,
phases and objectives. Nursing history - sources and
methods information gathering, the nursing diagnosis.

The objective of the subject is clarification of historical connection and birth of nursing as branch of science. Another goal is to acquire the key competences in field of nursing care.
