Language Support to Bachelor Degree Project for Foreigners

Synopsis:

To sign in for the course, the student will have passed examinations CESM 1, 2 and 3. The course instructs students in the strategy of writing, submitting, presenting, and defending the Bachelor Project in Czech. Their progress is continously monitored and assessed.

Requirements:

A pass in courses CESM 1,2,3

the ability to write a Bachelor Degree Project

Syllabus of lectures:

Regular tutorials troughout the semester and discussions about specific linguistic issues.

Syllabus of tutorials:

The course is run as a series of tutorials, assisting the student in text analysis and writing.

Study Objective:

Knowledge:

Language phenomena typical of academic writings, structure and style of the Bachelor Project, writing an abstract, citations. Preparation for defence of the project.

Skills:

To write a well structured and lingustically well based Bachelor Project in Czech and to present and defend it successfully.
