Synopsis:

Students are familiar with the basic issues of clinical disciplines, the most important features of the diseases and their treatment options. Emphasis is placed on diseases that contribute significantly to mortality in CR and those where it is efficient and possible non-pharmacological prevention.

obtain at least 15 points from the examination test

Syllabus of lectures:

First theme Basics Pneumology (inflammation, chronic bronchopulmonary disease, bronchial asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, respiratory insufficiency, bronchial and lung cancer, pneumothorax) (Prof. Navratil)

Second Endoscopy topic (the principle of endoscopic examination, indications for use, instrumentation, care for her, running costs) Laparoscopy (historical development, principles, instrumentation, diagnostic and therapeutic use) (as Senior. MD. Ducháč)

Third Topic Metabolism, obesity (metabolism ions, osmolality, acid-base balance, lipid metabolism disorders, obesity as a disease) (doc. Adámková)

4th Topic Hematology (diseases of red and white blood cells, hematological malignancies, regulation of hemostasis, coagulation disorders, disorders of platelet function, basic transfusiology, blood groups) (Prof. Navratil)

5th theme Basics gastroenterology (inflammatory and neoplastic diseases of the digestive tract motility disorders and rezorpce, inflammatory and neoplastic diseases of the liver, biliary tract and pancreas) (Prof. Navratil)

6th theme Basics of Nephrology (main renal syndromes, glomerular disease, interstitial nephritis, nephrolithiasis, urolithiasis, tumors of the kidney and urinary tract infections, acute and chronic renal failure, dialysis and transplant treatment) (Mgr. Šlikova)

7th Diseases of the topic based on physical causes (hyperthermia, cold damage, electrocution, drowning, the effects of atmospheric pressure and gravity, electromagnetic fields) (Mgr. Bártová)
