- Department of Software Engineering
The aim of the teaching course is to introduce students to basic models and methods of decision theory. Models are structured according number of participants, number of criteria, sets of decision variants, and other attributes. Included basic disciplines are decision by certainty, risk and uncertainty, multicriteria decision-making, and group decision-making.
- Syllabus of lectures:
.Basic concepts of decision theory.
.Discrete models of decisions.
.Decision by certainty, risk and uncertainty.
.Continuous models of decisions - mathematical programming.
.Multiattribute evaluation of alternatives.
.Methods with aspiration levels, ordinal and cardinal information.
.Methods with a priori, a posteriori, and progressive information.
.Data envelopment analysis models.
.Models of game theory.
.Models of social choice theory.
.Models of team expert evaluation.
.Modeling of negotiation process.
