The subject is focussed on applied GIS project in Landscape protection. Using raster based GIS analyses the students model soil erosion and sediment transport in a spatially distributed way and design protection measures against erosion. Verification study is included.

Study Objective:

The aim is to tech methods of GIS application in Landscape planning and protection including data assimilation, pre-processing, spatial analyses including raster algebra ans spatial statistics, modeling, editing and visualisation techniques.
