Synopsis:

History, definition. Production systems, problem solving methods, search in state space. Formal logic, theorem proving, resolution method, Prolog. Expert systems, backward and forward chaining, uncertainty reasoning, Rete algorithm, frames, examples - clasification, diagnostics, configuration, planning. Fuzzy sets, linguistic variables, Fuzzy control. Neuron and its model, kinds of neuron nets and their learning. Fuzzy regulator. Control by neuron nets. Genetic algorithms.
