Synopsis:

Kinetics of multibody systems (MBS). Static solution as a special case. Equilibrium position. The influence of friction. Dynamics of MBS. Basic formalisms. Numerical sulution. Systems with variable mobility during motion. The influence of member's flexibility. Program packages for analysis of MBS: MECH, OKAM2, ODAM and others. Case studies. Accuracy and sensitivity of MBS. Kinematic accuracy, dynamic accuracy. Case studies. Synthesis of MBS. Synthesis of planar and spatial mechanisms. Optimization of MBS.
