Synopsis:

Study aim of the course is focused on design and operation of combustion facilities and heat exchangers. Basic topics are:

?Combustion quality control

?Combustion optimization with respect to environmental impacts reduction.

?Calculation and design of combustion units.

?Thermal calculation of boilers.

?Design and optimization of flue gas heat exchangers.

?Flue gas heat exchangers operation.

Topics will be modified according to the subject of thesis.

Requirements:

Basic knowledge on thermodynamics, hydrodynamics, combustion equipment and steam boilers.

Syllabus of lectures:

Theory of heat exchangers, check of combastion quality, combustion control with respect to the environment, calculation and design of combastion equipment, fuel preparation.
