Synopsis:

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the latest technology in the use of solid fossil fuels.

Advanced fluidized bed combustion technology. Supercritical boilers for solid fuels.

Restrictive conditions for the solid fuel high temperature steam cycles ? Steam temperature 700.

Critical parameters for biomass and waste boilers.

Utilization (waste heat) boilers.

Wet stacks or flue gases in cooling towers.

Pressure fluidized bed gassification, cleaning of gassification gases. Low temperature vortex coal combustion. Surface combustion of natural gas. Fuel cell power plants.
