Synopsis:

Basic course of lectures on optoelectronic and photonics. Fundamentals of sources of radiation and detectors and energy transfer by electromagnetic radiation. Fundamentals of fiber optics.

Requirements:
Syllabus of lectures:

Basic physical quantities for radiation description. Thermal sources and radiation. Planck law, Stefan-Boltzman law, Wein Law. Detectors of radiation, semiconductor detectors. Fiber optics, basic characteristic and applications.
