Synopsis:

Reliability Engineering and Quality Engineering. Constructed facility and construction process. Reliability assurance process, quality assurance process (QA/QC). Defectology concepts. Tools: mathematical statistics, probability theory, random processes; decision-making; risk; analysis; Monte Carlo simulation technique. Agreements on contracts; specifications; construction procedures. Client's Brief; tendering; contractor and subcontractors. Architect/Engineer's supervision and inspection. Commissioning of construction projects. Types of construction contracts and their importance for quality and reliability (design-bid-build contracts, D/B contracts). - Case studies.
