Advanced theories and analyses in the field of steel and composite steel and concrete structures: Stability problems of frame and plated structures, thin-walled cold-formed structures, joints, materials and fatigue, progressive thin-walled structures, stainless steel structures, aluminium alloys structures, non-linear analysis of frame and plate structures, building and bridge structures, corrosion and fire protection, special problems according to personal orientation of the PhD student.

Before taking the examination following this course, it is required to have passed course D34TO1.

2. Choice of suitable references in English language (60 pages).
3. Study and consultation of problems.
4. Elaboration of report appropriate for inclusion into first part of PhD thesis.
