Synopsis:

The course deals with the teory and engineering metods of a manufacturing desing.

Requirements:

Knowledge based on previous technology seminars.

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Introducion to a production desing, decomposition - elements and relationships.

2. Input data analisis. Modular design concept.

3. System structures determination.

4. Resources planning - capacity calculation.

5. Material handling. Material flou analisis.

6. Facilities layout planning.

7. A store - function,factory wired configuration.

8. Engineering coditions of a manufacturing desing.

9. Criteria and methods for evaluation of project variants.

10. Plant design - receiving, raw material storage and and sawing.

11. Plant design - machining shop.

12. Assembly processes and systems desing.

13. Service plants design (toolroom, tool crib, chip waste management,...).

Syllabus of tutorials:

Plant engineering and facilities layout planning project.
