Capita selecta of modelling and simulation in HVAC engineering with focus on air flow in buildings, solar heating technology and control of HVAC systems.

Requirements:

Course 2162009 Introduction to Building Performance Simulation.

Syllabus of lectures:

Zonal models of air flow in buildings, modelling and simulation of solar heating technology, modelling and simualtion of HVAC control systems.

Syllabus of tutorials:

Air flow in a double-skin facade (ESP-r), model of a solar colector (TRNSYS), modelling and simulation of HVAC control systems (TRNSYS, ESP-r).

Study Objective:

The aim is theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of simulations of HVAC systems.
