The concept of demand and of the utility function. Cournot and Engel aggregation, theorem of composite wealth. Production function, engineering and economic efficiency, elasticity of substitution. Function with multiple outcomes, Lagrange minimum of costs. Expectation and the market structure, Pareto's non-efficiency, X-efficiency, affluence function. The concept of general equilibrium, efficiency, and optimality. Arrow's theorem, market collapse, Pigou vs. Coase. Theory of games and the model of an Oligopolis. Choice under uncertainty and risk, general equilibrium under uncertainty.
