Synopsis:

VD3 is a special seminar combining of Photoshop, Indesign and Typography with the aim of creating a comic story about about Prague. After several lectures students are asked to form groups of 2 to 4 people and create a story of any kind about the topic given by the teacher. In the end of the seminar each student is to finish with a selfmade book of stories done at the workshop.

1. Intro: motivation videos, presentation of previous works, explaining of the method, moodle. 2. Citywalk. 3. Photoshop - how the program works (dpi, ppi, color, etc): Ex libris. 4. Photoshop - transformation and graphic works: CD cover. 5. Photoshop - photomontage and groupforming: photomontage of the group. 6. Photoshop - custom brush, pattern: fly leaf. 7. Excursion to the bookmakers. 8. Typography. 9. InDesign. 10. InDesign. 11. InDesign /Exchange of the seminar works. 12. Workshop. 13. Presentation.
