Synopsis:

Theory of innovation, technology innovation - function and control, creative work and its support in technology innovation bussiness, including industrial property rights protection.

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Theory of innovation - fundamentals, product life cycle, technological innovation.

2. Manufacturing systém and innovation, innovation sorts. Innovation cycle, innovation cycle modelling.

3. Technological innovation management - main factors of innovation in an organization.

4. Creative work - a problem solving, methodical principles, thought trains.

5. Creative work support - ancillary methods review.

6. Morphologic method, TRIZ method, discussion methods, brainstorming.

7. Value analysis, benchmarking, quality function deployment (QFD) method.

8. Intellectual and industrial property rights (IPR).

9. IPR protection - patent, utility model, industrial design.

10. IPR protection - trademark, apellation of origin.

11. IPR protection procedures - internal (CR) and external (foreign countries).

12. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as the base of innovative entrepreneurship (IE). Innovative bussiness. IE and its main principles. IE support.

13. Bussiness plan. Bussiness plan financing.

Syllabus of tutorials:

A technology innovation analysis (individual semestral project).

Study Objective:

A review of methods and procedures for the support of creative work and entrepreneurship based on technology innovations.
