Synopsis:

The class introduces the new interdisciplinary field of human research so called Cognitive science. This discipline integrates pieces of knowledge from different branches which have one common topic - cognition. It may be AI (artificial intelligence) system which uses a knowledge of cognitive psychology, social anthropology and linguistic to reach their goals. It could be also cognitive psychology which applies information paradigm to description of cognitive processes. Sciences which contribute to the field of cognition are first of all philosophy, neuroscience, psychology, linguistics, social anthropology, artificial intelligence and computer science.
