Synopsis:

Definition, types, ownership, maintainance, management and categorization of roads and highways. Curve and transition curve. Sinusoity and standard speed. Route in rural areas. Range of vision for stopping and overtaking. Road body - shapes and proportions, bottom and superstructure. Drainage and components of roads. Safety device. Crossings, junctions, intersections.

Study Objective:

The goal is to teach students how to design roads, highways and motorways in lanscape as well as urban areas and crossings including the project.
