Synopsis:

The international summer school surveys recent theoretical and empirical developments in the deployment of distributed solutions for industry, services, public health, or e-learning. Special attention will be given to the technological support for CNO (Collaborative Networked Organizations), PVC (Professional Virtual Communities), and VE (Virtual Enterprises), as well as to novel promising techniques (ontologies, virtual reality) that simplify the communication among involved subjects. During the hands-on tutorials, the attendees will be given the opportunity to experience several original SW tools for knowledge discovery in textual data or for creating multi-agent systems.

18 hours of lectures + 5-6 hours of exercises in lab + final exam
