Overview of FEA systems. Basics of general FEA system. Construction of geometry. Boolean operations. Import of geometry from CAE systems. Material properties. Element types. From geometry to finite element model, meshing. Boundary conditions and loading. Basic analysis; steady-state analysis, modes of vibration, frequency response model. Introduction to more complex problems; contact analysis, nonlinear analysis.
