The course is meant for students who have attended the course J0N1 or who have proved a corresponding knowledge in placement tests.Course objective. Achieving competence in basic German and an ability to react in simple everyday situations, orientation in simple texts.

Course objective: Achieving competence in basic German and an ability to react in simple everyday situations. Topics and situations: Restaurants, accommodation, shopping, at the post office, travelling, culture, daily routine, at the doctors.
Grammar: Declination of adjectives, comparatives and superlatives, declination of demonstrative pronouns, conjugation of irregular, strong and mixed verbs in the present and future tense, sentence construction, subordinate clauses, prepositions that take both the accusative and the dative cases, ordinal numbers, measurements, mass and quantity, geographical names, separable and inseparable prefixes, infinitives with „zu“, prepositional verbal phrases, pronominal adverbs.
