The course is suitable for intermediate students who have an equivalent command of the language as someone who has completed book one of a language school text book. Course objective: An ability to understand and converse fluently in everyday situations with emphasis on communication. Understanding straightforward technical texts and writing about a given topic.

Course objective: An ability to understand and converse fluently in everyday situations with emphasis on communication. Understanding straightforward technical texts and writing about a given topic. Topics and situations: Health and illness, employment, studying, free time, houses and apartments, expressing common attitudes (obligation, permission, agreement and disagreement, surprise). Technical texts and terminology:. Grammar: Present subjunctive, indirect speech.
