Importance of modeling in machine design; fiel of problem specification; main methods for continuum discreditation; main principles of FEM; beam elements described with FEM; mass matrix and stiffness matrix; main 2D and 3D elements; constrains; boundary condition specification and preprocesing; postprocesing and interpretation of results; verification; body systems; sensitivity analysys; parametrical optimalization; topological optimalization.
