Course enlarges student knowledge of statistical and decision-making techniques and operational analysis techniques used in the economy: descriptive statistics, regression and correlation analysis, time series, probability, statistical estimation, verification of statistical hypotheses, CPM and PERT, inventory management, linear programming, simulation methods (Monte Carlo), renewal and maintenance, structural analysis, econometric models including index analysis.

Models of inventory management. Renewal and maintenance. Queuing models. Models of reliability. Structural models. Models of processes. Simulation models. Extremes of functions of one variable and several variables. Econometric models.
