Basic methods of active vibration suppression, active and semi-active methods. Direct actuator, relative actuator, auxiliary actuator. Model assembly. Control design. Case studies - beam vibration suppression, vehicle suspension, driver seat suspension, delayed resonator, vibration suppression of a truss. Technology - electromagnetic vibrator, piezoactuator, controlled damper, controlled spring. Case study of design and demonstration in laboratory.
