-
Special parts of thermodynamics at one component and two component systems
(one and binary systems in refrigerating technology). Cycles and working
fluids used in refrigeration. Single stage, multistage and cascade
compression cycles. Direct and indirect cooling systems, system with
recirculation. Refrigerants, their thermal and transport
properties. Theory of absorb and steam cycles. Cycles for low temperatures
technology. First thermodynamic law for solid substance. Optimisation of
liquefaction and cool down processes. Analyses of the multi-stream heat
exchangers. Regenerative heat exchangers in cryogenics.
